Ok, since I have gotten several e-mail on just "What the counter", on my website Lordofthelooks.com, for it is the days until my retirement. I turned in my letter of resignation a week ago last Friday. That gave the company a months notice. The counter even counts the days, hours, minutes and seconds left, not that I'm counting though.

This means that I'll be able to get in a lot more time on putting together monthly Events for the South Texas Chapter again, can't wait to see all the old faces again as well as the new ones.

Everyone have a SAFE and Happy Holidays!!

Thanks guys, I'm sure it will take a bit of getting used to not having to get up early every morning and fight the traffic and also not having to shave unless you want too! Of course on the flip side there is for some reason that the wife starts planning BIG honey-Do lists?? I told her I'm retiring, not becoming Mr. Mom... :-) Thanks again...

Congratulations Fred. I don't know how I ever had time to work. It doesn't take long to get used to not getting up to go to work. Your hobbies are a lot more fun and as long as you have something to do, you won't miss working.

Thank Mark, I was reminded of my experience out there one night last week. We had Debe's company Christmas party to go to and it was in the Petroleum Club downtown. I didn't think anything of it until I noticed everyone was getting in the elevators! Dang thing was on the 43rd (top) floor of the building and all glass around... She had to pull me out of the elevator and I found the middle of the floor and superglued myself there until time to leave.. I would ove to get back out to your area but I'll just stay away from the tall ones, thanks. We're thinking of making Marty's area next year though. Hell I've got the time now..

ONGRATS Fred, i was wondering if you fell off the face of the earth

as far as the counter goes, after it hits zero, you will have to reverse the direction for the "HONEY DO LIST" as
prev. mentioned
happy holidays to you and Deb.
