LARRY, LOST MY DAD WHEN HE WAS 55 YRS OLD. BIG IMPACT ON MY LIFE. AS LIFE WENT ON FOR ME, HIS INFLUENCE & TEACHINGS WERE VERY CLEAR. ALTHOUGH I MISSED HIM, I REALIZED HE WAS ALWAYS THERE WITH ME WHEN I NEEDED OR THOUGHT ABOUT HIM.

Larry,

Sorry to read that your best friend, aka Dad is now gone...but rest assured you will never forget all the memories. I lost my Dad 4 years ago, and still think about him so many times, when I am busy doing something and all of a sudden, the thought of him comes vividly into my mind, almost like he is standing right next to me.

Our prayers are with you and your family.

Julie and Jim

Larry, Debbie our condolences. It appears you have plenty of great times to help you through this. Something tells me you didn't keep all this secret from your Dad.

Larry,
I will keep your Father in my prayers! Your relationship with him sounded very close and of course that makes it that much harder.
It sounds like he lived a good life. It also sounded as if he was a really cool guy. Thank God you had him 21 years longer than I had my Dad. He passed away at 62 from a cancerous tumor by his brain.

Larry your story brought a tear(actually several) to my eyes. I am still dealing with the loss of my Dad and the similarities of your story to mine is uncanny. My Dad loved motorcycles too. I actually fell asleep one time behind him on his bike on a long road trip. I woke up in the middle of a sharp left hand turn and he had his left arm back around me holding me on. So many incredible memories with him. When he passed he had a blue Crown Vic. Loved his Fords.
The greatest thing he gave me was a toolbox full of life tools. I know you can relate. Take care my friend and hang in there. Jeff

God bless him, my Dad passed 19 years ago, had a heart attack and wrecked his car on the way to work. I was on duty and got called to a car accident. I was the first on the scene when I saw who's car it was I was numb. I gave him cpr on the front seat of his caddie until the ambulance arrived, but we lost him on the way to the hospital.

Hold on to the good memories, the bad ones are so hard to loose.

I hate the month of March and I drive by the damn spot twice a day........
