Had my car in the Goodguys Show over the weekend. Ended up buying this.

1952 Plymouth 4 door. Car is complete and bone stock. Well, except for the 2nd owner put disc brakes on the front. Still a 6 volt system.
49,000 ORIGINAL miles on it. Had been in storage for 25 years. Even runs good.

Not a typical cruiser, that's why I like it. And its a Plymouth.

This is going to be pure sleeper, in fact for a while I won't do anything but drive it. But I already have visions.

Crate Hemi, hmmmmmmmmmmmmm

I pick it up tomorrow.

I'm pretty jazzed.

Awesome Dave.

I could use some help in finding any web sites about it. It does need a hood emblem, and bumper bullets I think.

I am actually pretty happy I bought it.

jd: let me know what you need. A lot of the parts are available on e-bay, but I do have some suppliers and there are always a lot of parts for these at Carlisle in July. I will be glad to help you find what you need. Mine is a '51 but they are very similar. Check out this website. It has been a big help to me. I have had my '51 since 1965. http://www.oldplymouths.bigstep.com/generic0.html

JD's car is the deluxe version, its a Cranbrook. Mine is the less expensive model, it's a Cambridge. The bottom of the line was the fastback model known as the Concord.

It has good paint on it now, somebody filled in back up lights, so the body is my least concern for now.
It had undercoating sprayed on it years ago and it's a mess. First step is to go to a good steam cleaner and do the bottom. Then I will see what I have. Drove it home today, rides like a gunboat, LoL. But I will fix that.

Anyway, thanks all

My first mod, LoL

This is what the original blue dots were made for.

Perfect fit, I had the lens off already to get one brake light working. Goes in soon,,

JD: The real thing is available for these cars. I pick spares up every time I find one. They are all glass and fragile. I have broken two over the years, but I have one spare now. Are you interested if I can find some more?

Dave, those look like the owner are putting them on? I looked over the lens, and it does a have solid center to drill out. The top reflector just presses out.

But I think you are right, in the real lens would look better. The one you have looks to be installed better than the one on ebay.
