Mountain guitarist/vocalist Leslie West arrives. 1945

1960s
The High Numbers fail their EMI Records audition. Undaunted they go on to become The Who. 1964

One of the most incredible singles ever created, Brian Wilson’s masterpiece “Good Vibrations,” is released. Thanks to endless use in commercials, T.V. shows and films, the Beach Boys` song is one of the most over-exposed songs in history. Still, that can’t diminish its greatness. 1966

Building on their debut earlier in the year, “Led Zeppelin II” is released. 1969

1970s
KISS uncorks “Hotter Than Hell.” 1974

Keith Moon plays his last North American show with The Who in Toronto. 1976

1980s
Van Halen plays Worchester, MA after 25,000 sign a petition asking the band to add their city to its tour schedule. 1982

2000s
Foo Fighters release their “One By One” LP. 2002
