Got this email today...had Bank of America's logos and such all over it. I dont have an account and the bad spelling and grammar are a good hint that its bogus.
I dont believe people still fall for this stuff on a daily basis.

Even the page it directs you to looks pretty good and even sends you to a thank you page after you update your information.

I got that one too. Dead giveaway - I don't use my online banking account. Reported this to BOA and have forwarded the email to them with hopes of them somehow tracking this loser down.

Don't be too quick to judge. I use Bank of America and they usually have that many errors in spelling, punctuation, and grammer.

I had the same thing happen on my pay-pal account, wanting me to log in and give information like credit card # and password. You need to be careful on all your online accounts.

Any institution knows that they CAN NOT place a link in an email. If you receive an email that does anything other then TELL (as opposed to link) you to go to the regular web site, it should be considered a fraud.
