What's up with Jake Plummer?? 17 quarters without an interception. Will the interception throwing "Bad Jake" return??

He now has a offensive line to give him enough seconds to look down field and throw. He hasn't had that since his college days at ASU.

If they stay healthy, Denver looks like the team to beat!

AC, It just goes to show you that football isn't about ONE player. It really is a TEAM sport. Jake is doing a great job with the team he has around him.

CJ, It looks like Denver is going to be tough to beat this year. They still have to keep their players healthy. A few injuries in the wrong places make all the difference in any team. I hope all the teams can stay healthy and play to the best of their abilities.

Hey..? I'm not knocking the Broncs, but they've started 5 and 1 for the past three years and ended up be the "donks"?

San Diego is playing tough.. Looks like the Chefs are history?

I like Pittsburgh too...what's up with Tommy (Happy Face) Maddox..he was Reeves's savior to replace Elway in the early 90's and...well, let's just say he didn't do it?

Geezzz..I remember the days when the AFC couldn't compete in a game of parchessee with the NFC...now it looks like it's turned around 180 degrees?? Not sure the NFC will be able to field a team in this season's Superbowl??

Let's see, the NFC North does not have a team with a winning record. 2 & 3 and they are in first place. AFC East has two teams at 3 & 3.
I would say Indy Colts are in the driver's seat. 6-0 with a great quarterback. The Steelers have Big Ben but he has been taking a lot of shots. He went to Miami of Ohio so I usually root for him but not this week. Bengals will beat them by 10 at home this week. The Bengals are legit after 16 miserable years. They get too many penalties and their run defense is not the best but their offense if fabulous. Palmer just had his 9th straight game with a rating over 100. 18 quarters and 148 passes without an interception 13 TD passes and 2 interceptions for the year. Rudi Johnson is a good running back.
They are for real and I think they will be in the Super Bowl.

As far as I'm concerned.......NO ONE will ever replace Elway!

Burnzie - Mankato can have the Cardinals,,,,we'll help load the U-Hauls!! Up there,,,they would probably draw more fans than they have here.

Once again,,,,Thanks St. Louis for dropping that Yak dump football team off to Arizona>>>>losers, always. L.A. needs a pro football team,,,please take them away.........they'll be winners over there, lol.

Kevin:

Come jump on the Carolina Panthers bandwagon with me!
Panthers are off this week and then head your way (Minnesota) on 10/30.

They're 4-2 (should be 6-0) and are tied for 2nd in the NFC South with Atlanta and 1 game back of Tampa Bay who is 5-1. Narrow embarrassing loses to New Orleans and Miami which sandwich a pounding of New England. Go figure.

Chuck (CTProwler) is coming down to Charlotte to catch his Jets play the Cats.

Chomer - Don't worry, I'm sure the NFC will show up in Detroit. The balance of power may have shifted to the AFC, but last week the NFC was 3-2 against the AFC in head-to-head matchups.

Hope your quarterback is OK...it looked bad on TV..It's just terrible when the players can't get up after a "play"..

Bengals are now 6-2. The had 5 interceptions against Favre, the most he has ever thrown. They got 4 in a row and 5 out of 6 Packer possessions.
Green Bay has lost 5 games by a total of 16 points.

Yo Chromer....Our old coach (Schottenheimer) kicked our butts yesterday...middle of the 3rd quarter before I could get them on the radio coming back to civilization from Iowa!
If I could figure out how to change a pic from a "tif" to a "jpg", I'd post a pic of why I am making these trips to "I oughtta went around" (Iowa)4 hours each way!!

Cardinals are 'on' the move again, 2 and 5. You ain't going to stop them from obtaining those future #1 draft picks,,,,,,, that they can't sign anyway, lol.

Hope Dante is OK. Glad the Panthers won, but sorry to see Culpepper go down. That game got ugly.

Chromer & CJ-
I was pulling hard for the Broncos. A Philly lose helps the Panthers, but not as much as San Fran's upset of Tampa.

IT'S ALL ABOUT THE BUNGALS BABY!!!! CAN'T BELIEVE WE ONLY SCORED 21 WITH 5 PICKS FROM FAVRE. IT WAS KIND OF SAD TO SEE HIM CRAWLING ON THE GROUND AT THE END OF THE GAME THOUGH. HE'S TRULY AN INCREDIBLE COMPETITOR AND FOREVER A LEGEND.

Heard this morning that 3 ligaments in Culpepper's knee are damaged. Tice's interview said his season is done and that once the severe swelling is down they will do surgery.

Glad the Panhers won, but really hate to see a guy go down like that.
