2.66 mile long track.....
33 degree banking...
Talladega's tri oval is Nascars biggest track. These guys are running at 193 mph average time....
so its going to be 200 plus on the straights....

Tires could be an issue ... wrecks here are BIG and a blown tire could take out a dozen cars...a rookie mistake could do it... or maybe a little payback...

Jeffie has won 2 of the last three here....

Little E has won 3 of the last 6...

my picks ??

Rusty will always be my number 1... even though he is starting from the back...
Tony is always strong...
Little E has the record...
Mark Martin is due, and has a fast car ...
Kennseth is my wild card pick...

this one is in Bama so...
i'm shaving my whole body....i'm yankin out that last tooth..and sis is looking pretty good !!

lets go racing !!

ps: sorry this is a plate race ....i love the old days to, but its time to move on...

I still think the Super Speedways are the best. I personally think they sould throw away the restrictor plates and let them race. Now with the plates it is just, "Stick your foot in the carb and never lift". All the way around the track. If they are race car drivers, they should learn to lift as the get to the curves. Let em have all the power and learn to "Drive"! If the drivers can't learn to lift, then let em drive into a wall and get out of the "Drivers" way.

Its going to be a banger of a race,,,,who will end up going over on their roof?

AC's picks:
1. Biffel to win,I'll be down at local Subway to celebrate
2. Smoke Stewart - rebounds from last week
3. Kennseth - Rousch guys have the total package
4. Newman's Dodge [Lethia's pick to take home the Cup]
5. Mark Martin - taking a double dose of Viagra today = power steering
6. Rusty Wallace - Penske expects BIG results!

Halicat - send me that last tooth you yanked out,,,,I'll sell it on eBay. Forget about sis,,,,I've already had that

I'm ready for racin',,,,,,then some football. I've got my priorities straight, lol.

First? First to the front? First to go out? First to pits? First to wreck?

Narrow it down to two of your picks,,,,give us the numbers of those two cars,,,to WIN this race,,,,then I'm in to take your money,

Gary Selzey will be back to the pits shut down with the engine cold by the time those guys get there!! I think restrictor plates were originally invented so the Chevalays could keep up with the Fords. Now that Chevalay is allowed to run the SBCII and got rid of the old antiquated head design, restrictors aren't needed any more except to keep the speeds down on the super speedways.

I would love to see faster speeds but not at the cost of drivers lives...

Selzey's motor would be cold a half hour after hitting the turn 1 wall....

Dang... 43rd again !

Pat these are two different sports... and i love them both. no convincing needed here.

Johnson made some more friends....
claims he was bumped from behind that made him hit the 38...
replay says different...this isn't the first time he's pulled the "Johnson"..

JJ caused a big one there in the spring too. I have to reevaluate my support of JJ. Martin is ticked off, and I don't blame him.

Jimmy Johnson [liar] said somebody hit him in the back end causing him to hit Sadler = B S Replay proves otherwise

I hope someone puts him into the wall,,,,hard

I guess cNote wants to hold onto his money,,,too late now to predict the winner!

Another one...

Its amazing that these cars can withstand so much damage and still the drivers walk away...

Mayfield may win this one ... he's hanging back in last watching all the mayhem....

AC--at those speeds, it would seem like a push if someone came up fast--as they did.JMO

Al - at that track,,,,its 'bump draft pushing'. The replay clearly showed that Jr. #8 wasn't bump draft pushing before JJ hit Sadler,,,,as JJ claimed.

Same thing happened when Newman #12 hit the #41 Target car. I asked Lethia how she wanted me to explain her guy's obvious fault to that resulting mass accident. Her answer: "Kickin' As$,,,goin' Fast,,,,get out of the way,,,,real men drive Dodges"
