I know I clicked on something by accident when one of my cats was trying to get up on the keyboard.

But keep in mind that it’s when the last window is closed that the settings are saved. Try this. Close all Internet Explorer Windows. Open one Internet Explorer Window. Resize the Internet Explorer Window to your liking. Close the Internet Explorer Window. Now it should open the same each time you open it. Hope that helps.
