The drive kept clicking but it wouldn't work. We called the tech support line; they talked us through the reset process but it didn't clear the problem. They immediately sent us an overnight package to send it back. Got a new one in a few days. Something went haywire with the storage media. I haven't had any problems at all with the replacement. I'd suggest you call the 1-800 tech support line and ask them. BTW - what a great device! I have almost 3000 songs on mine and hardly ever use the CD in the Prowler any more - just use my ipod. Janet

I don't think there is anything they could have done to make it better. I got the 4 gig model and have almost a 1,000 songs on it with room for probably another 150.
