Just read an article stating all the competitors for the new Chev HHR. They listed the PT Cruiser as competition.........I've had 3 PT's and love them to death .... and offended with the comparison to the HHR....

what ever floats your boat.... judge yourself....

door #1 or door #2 ?

I still think you're going to start seeing a lot of used PT cruisers at the chevy dealers. The PT to me is just a very very cheaply built vehicle.

that remains to be seen... i really don't think so...

Chev doesn't have anything that is proven to be dependable, looks as good, or is as versitile and the PT in that price range...

I'm not fond of the HHR... but because it doesn't appeal to me, doesn't mean its not perfect for someone else....
heck my neighbor doesn't like my Prowler... but she also doesn't like it when i get my dog to bite her....sup wit dat ? lol

hey Pat...

that one was called the PT cruiser Pronto... the very first prototype of the modern day PT... this was designed in the early 90's...

I agree.... kickass for sure !

would look nice in the driveway next to the Prowler...

That's a PT I could drive, if it had a 425 HP Hemi!

I could drive that PT for sure.

However the current one reminds me of the OMNI every time I see one.

I've never seen the PT Pronto before, I love it!

DC should build it as the next generation PT.

Maybe on a little larger scale than the present PT (so the Hemi will fit!).

I wouldn't hold my breath til DC puts a hemi in the PT, although Grand Spaulding Dodge put the 426 Hemi in the Colts!! I would like to see a little more aggressive engine in the PT....the Neon SRT engine is a step in the right direction. I still like the smoothness of a V6 over the 4 bangers, but the Neon SRT engine will eat up most (if not all) of the V6s available today!! I agree with 01...I've never seen the Pronto before...I'd buy one of them!!

My PT Turbo was a quick little car..... not what i would call fast... but speedy would be a better word...

I think the Prowler 3.5 would be great, a 5.7 hemi would be wonderfull.... they would have to go to rear wheel and extend the engine compartment.....

A PT Pronto with a v-6......I'd buy one tomorrow....
in black of course...

Chip Foose..... you listening ?.......lol

If the cable goes out, make sure that you hit the record button on the VCR. That way you will be able to watch the race later when the cable comes back on!!!!! This helpful hint forwarded from Alley Cat. (He is sooo smart!!!) No thanks are neccesary Hali. Just helping AC out here!!! LOL
