Since Halicat is on a sabbatical this week,,,,he asked me to post the NASCAR info for this weekend:

09/10/05 - Chevy Rock & Roll 400 - Richmond International Raceway - TNT Network - 7 p.m. EDT

AC's pick:

Harvick is on the pole in a Chevy,,,,so I'll take Mark Martin to win in a Ford. Biffel to finish in top 5

Halicat's pick to win: Kyle Petty in dad's Dodge

Jim - that is some heavy stuff you are smokin'

Yeah,,,the real days of "stock car racing". Not much today in relationship between the actual street car and the factory [mis]representation.

tangled-
Great 'bird in the Petty blue.
I loved the Fury. Plymouth sold a ton of "Petty Blue" Furys during The King's heyday.

Noone thought it could be possible, that the 8 and 24 would not be in the chase. What happened to the conspiracy theories?

conspiracy? That may be what it will take to upset that fine stable of FORDS in the ten for the chase. ONLY two Chevys made it, and only Rusty's Dodge [of the 3 Dodges] has an outside shot to win it all. Smoke in the #20 is running awful strong, and finishes high up in the order,,,,,,may possibly pull if off?

I'm pulling for Biffel >>>>> National Guard and SUBWAY sponsored #16 FORD. I've been with him all year, so I'll stay with him now.

Lethia is sticking with Newman - #12 ALLTEL DODGE

May the best FORD win!

way to go AC !!

Thanks for the back up while i was away...

one of these 10 drivers is going to win it....

1. -- Tony Stewart Leader
2. -- Greg Biffle -5
3. +1 Rusty Wallace -10
4. -1 Jimmie Johnson -15
5. +1 Kurt Busch -20
6. -1 Mark Martin -25
7. -- Jeremy Mayfield -30
8. -- Carl Edwards -35
8. +1 Matt Kenseth -35
10. +1 Ryan Newman -45

it would be great to see Rusty or Mark win the championship...Martin looks like he will be racing again next year so i'm with Rusty all the way..... Tony is going to be hard to beat.... He focused...

the rest all have a shot and maybe the championship will be decided by someone not in the chase... watch your back Tony, payback can be bitter..

I really hope its decided on the last race, on the last lap.....

go Rusty !!
