That Pontiac afterthought....can't remember the name of it...maybe they have quit making it....ugliest car I've ever seen....even uglier than AC's Pacer!! (might have been an Aztec)

I thought that the Aztec had it wrapped up 'till I saw the Honda Element. Just goes to prove that if Honda builds it "they will come", regardless of how it looks.(just look at the Honda "Rune" motorcycle?, yikes!) The Scion is funky looking, but I think they did that on purpose. There certainly is a lot of aftermarket stuff made for them.

Scooter, I think the RUNE is the best looking bike I have ever seen, including customs.

Love the Rune tail lights !!

Ugly: there are a lot of cars I wouldn't buy but they all must appeal to someone. Some of the late 60's/early 70's
Japanese cars were pretty bad. I rented an Aztec once just to see why anyone would buy one. AMC pacer reminds me of a Gremlin blown out with compressed air. The Element and Scion (boxy one) seem to be aimed at the younger crowd.

To each their own - there are even a few people that think Prowlers are ugly.

I had one on order once-upon-a-time...having owned one of it's highly modified predecessors! Had a friend who bought 2--a black for himself, a deep red for his wife...$50k worth in 2 bikes! And I thought I wanted one badddd, until I saw it in-person...and ALL the plastic (not chrome like it looked in the photos). Cancelled my order and bought a NEW HD Springer...which was awesome UNTIL ... that infamous Mother's Day 2004 ... which is why I'm Tytanium-K today!

Oh sure Jan..you've done it now...licensed a free for all!

I've thought long and hard and it was tough..the finalists were the Jeep Liberty or the Dodge Durango..(don't be mad liberty or durango owners )

In the end..I (we) had to go with the Durango..everytime my wife and I are out and about and see one those Quasimodo's we spontaneously look at eachother and say: "Isn't that the ugliest SUV you've ever seen in your life"...

Aztec and many American Motors offerings(Pacer, Gremlin, Nash)...

all the little round shaped(jelly bean) cars made by everyone these days, no character...

TY-K, went with the Harley. It had 12 miles on it when it vibrated apart and the handlebars fell off.
But the Harleys look good at Starbucks. lol.
Let the bashing begin. lol

Looks like this thread has been totally hi-jacked...So I'm jumping in too!

How about this production 500 HP Chev V-8 number with a two speed automatic with reverse with a dry weight of just over 1,300 lbs. The ultimate of American machismo and overkill!

Every time I see a Rune, I picture Bugs Bunny (or Porky the Pig) riding it (cartoon bike). Hey ,you guys from Ohio, do you work at the Honda factory there? Airbags on a scooter, what next?? Had a lot of Harleys, never had the handlebars fall off yet, I'd like to hear that story. Never thought about the Durango, but yes, it leaves a little to be desired in cosmetics I guess. Never much liked Saab's body lines either. Mazda is making some nice looking cars now (they stand out from the crowd).

There will never be a car uglier than the AMC Matador....no matter how long you look at an Aztek or Pacer.

Fat Pat, the kid across the street said he is going to go to small engine repair school and then work on Harleys. Sandy asked him why and he said they sell a ton of them and they keep breaking down. A lot of rich guys buy them and don't know diddly about repairing them.

Smart kid!! Although they are much better now than they have ever been. They still have crap for fuel delivery maybe with the exception of FI. I've owned about every brand of 2 wheeler you can name except BMW and Henderson! Favorites?? Depends on what you are gonna do!! Norton Atlas kinda stands out in my mind. Also BSA Lightning with Rickman Metisse frame!

OK Harley BASHERS, Harleys are like Prowlers they cost to much to buy and they cost to much to fix but for me they are both worth every pennie.

I ordered my 98 Springer in 96 and paid $14,200 I have added about $3000 in extras over the years have put 11,000 miles on it and the only thing I have had to pay for is rear tires and brakes it is worth more today then when I bought it in 98 even with the extras I just turned down $18500 this weekend again. Say that about your ricer that's even a year old. I have had several Harleys since I bought this one and have sold all of them for what I had in them or for a profit as far as the 98 its not for sale unless someone makes a really stupid offer.

My 2000 Prowler is not worth what I paid for it in 2001 but take off the mods then sell the car for $27,500 it cost me 15 cents a mile to have 4 years of use and 45,000 miles of fun.

Now that I am off my soap box the AZTEC has to win the award for WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU THINKING for a US auto manufacturer.

Anyone remember the "Italian" bike, Motoguzzo? Gozzman, what was the name of those. They were from Italy, weren't they? As I remember they were kinda weird looking. Weren't they shaft driven?

Bob, locally there are at least 25 Harleys in the paper every day. People are asking a high price for them but I don't think they are selling since there are so many of them.
I agree the Harleys look good and sound great but you never see a Harley with 80,000 miles on it.
