Coffman - good one! OK,,,I need to ask since FatPat told me this. Is it true that you remove money out of the weekly offering plate at church? That the weekly theft paid for your Prowler mods? They will bury you facing down!!

...when AC was a little sprout, his mom gave him 2 quarters on Sunday morning....one for the collection plate and one for a candy bar after church.... ....as he was walking down the street to church, he was playing with the quarters when one slipped out of his grasp and went down the storm drain...staring into the storm drain at the lost quarter he said "well lord, there went your quarter"

tangled - you are so close. When I was 5,6,7, yrs old,,,my grandmother would give me a silver dollar each sunday I'd visit her house. These silver $1 were all from the 1895 to early 1900's mint era. Once I took about ten to school with me,,think I was about 7 then, and I dropped them accidently down into a storm water grate next to the school building >>> Gone forever,,or until the school maintenance workers got them That lesson taught me to hold on tight to my money. MEMORIES

45 years later, Marty gave A/C a jug of pennies. Five years later, A/C is still holding them tightly, too. The beat goes on. It is the end of the world, I tell ya, the end....

Ed - The $10 penney bottle that Marty paid me for the Alley Cat Chrome Grill Treatment System "user fee",,,,will end up at the Krehel Prowler Museum in Houston. It is safely now locked up in the vault at my B of A bank branch.BTW - it was 37 years later,,not 45 years. Don't put me in that 'over 60' age group with you and Scot Stern.
