Jd its great you stand by your guy... I don't think Tom want Jr to suffer as i wouldn't wish that on anyone.... His points are well founded and being a coach myself , i understand exactly what he is saying ... My quote to all my kids was.... "despite the score, we all need to leave the rink after every game proud of ourselves and our fans and with our head held high"..... Jr should have taken the idiots to task publicly .....he didn't.... thats the point Tom was making... and i have to agree with him... |

Just like the yellow brick road Tom.... The big question this year will be: " if a fat , outa shape hockey player shoots the puck in the net... and there's no one there to see it, is it still a goal ? " one of the biggest lessons in sports just got played out and the greedy lost.... |

Good interview Butchee, thanks. The guy usually says the right things, takes the high road. I know he gets the whiner tag, but most of the time he's on the money. I didn't see 1 negative thing in that interview, but maybe I'm brainwashed . He's not even my favorite driver. ------------------ |

that's what I saw in the interview Tom. He called it like it was and didn't blame anyone else for his or his teams short comings. |
