Missed, obviously. Jerry Springer used to live three blocks from me. He was the Mayor of Cincinnati, for real. While on City Council he paid a hooker in KY. with a check, resigned from city council and a year or so later was the top vote getter, hence became mayor.

At the time that Ed and I appeared on his show back in 2000,,,,,Springer told us that we were some of the finest trash specimens he had ever had on his show. We weren't sure if that was a compliment or a slam?
