Water all over the place this morning and trees down up and down our street. The desert just can't handle that much water at one time and there must have been flash floods all over town. Good thing the Black Tie was tucked safely in the garage!! Larry, what's the report from Mesa area?

Ten minutes later, Lethia comes home and through the front door looking like a drenched cat. I look outside again and see 50 mph winds, same lightning,,,,and the rain coming down hard horizontally. Think we got about 2" of rain in a hour,,,but no damage to trees that I can see this morning. The most rainfall fell in downtown Phx - over 3". Snowbirds will be here in October,,,,,,tell him to invest in a car. Not good to ride m/c with the snowbirds/blue hairs on the road at the same time!
