The Colorado Prowler group went for a run today on the Peak to Peak Highway. We stopped along the road breifly, and I snapped this picture of an Old Dodge in the driveway near by. Anyone know the Model and Year?

Chromer look at the fins and the enlongated tail lights and also the shap of the front fender eyebrows that have chrome trim and almost go back to the wheel well. It is defintely a 59. Also look where the tag is mounted on the 57. I believe it to be a Royal or Custom Royal but cannot be sure. Its not an Coronet because it has the emblem instead of the Coronet script on the front fender. Also I don't believe it to be a Royal Lancer because the front fender emblem does not appear to have a long lance running through it top to bottom. The 59 was an larger car than either the 57 or 58.

Although a 2-door is pictured,,,,,I'd say a 1959 Royal 4-door sedan is what you seen:

Jack looks good reading the GPS equipment and sitting on the extra fan belts that Chromer carries, lol.

It is a 59, the tailights are special to that year only.
I had a two tone blue one and cannot remember what it was called. maybe a Royal. Mine had a 361 engine with a 2bbl carb and a torqueflight trans. I paid 75.00 for it in 1965. Mine was a 4-dr just like the one pictured.

Why that's a 1959 "Rollscanardly"! Rolls down one hill can hardly roll up the next!

Yo Russell...

When eight Prowlers pulled off in Nederland for gas, Jack and I decided we'd go to the next gas station for a fill up...didn't know there was only ONE station in town...

We ended up on some God forsaken road that funneled into Blackhawk. We made our way out of Black Hawk to Central City and finally found civilization at I-70 and made our way home...Jack needs more practice on his GPS navigation skills..

I'm pleasantly surprised to "hear" you say you "missed the sounds of the wild from that Stinger.." That car is so damn loud it even wears me down and half deaf most of the time ...

Great run..Pleasure meeting you and Cathy!
