What was the 1st production car to use the Wankel Rotary Engine?....HINT...it was not Mazda. The car I am referring to was never imported to the USA that I know of!! I bet CJ knows!!

..Ferdinand Porsche tried using his dog "Wankel" for a short period of time as a budget power source....problems arose when Wankel encountered a cat and the Porsche was drug thru several yards before stopping at a tree.....the Wankel program was soon abandoned....

my brother in law has an 66-67 NSU of some kind....he used to race it....the car is about the size of my desk....kinda like racing a Toro riding mower with doors...

C111 Mercedes...came out in the early '60s with a twin rotor Wankel and gull wing doors...1st production car to break the 200 MPH barrier. I'm sure someone will "research" me on this...I'm going from memory!!
