My better half drove straight through to Minnesota today and should be approaching Bob's place anytime. Going to miss him but I am sure he is going to have a great time. Listen for the train horn and I am sure you will find him.

Just hope Bob has enought Miller Lite for him.

Mrs. CNote6

I am right sorry to hear that the Boy has headed out to the shindig without you and the little one! While I am advanced in my years, at 117 years old, I am gonna saddle up, head down to the airdrome and get me a flight out to that there shindig.

I never been on one of those new fangled machines with no propellers but they tell me that they are relatively safe so I'll do what is necessary and hop the bird. I sure hope that those flight attendants leave me alone as I am in no mood to have to have them ah flocking around me looking to date me.

When I get there, I'm gonna keep an eye on the boy and make sure he and those other whipper snappers don't get into no trouble drinking too much of that there fire water!

I'll report back to you on a daily basis so that you are cognizant of what the boy is up to. It is the least I can do for you and the little fella.

It was not my intention to attend but now I feel that this is the least that I can do to make sure that they behave. It's a tough job but what the hell.

I gotta run now as Dew Drop is ah packing my Sunday-go-to-meeting clothes along with a change of underwear for the trip. I'm gonna take my own vittles as some of those mid-western foods give me the squirts.

Later,

The Old Man

We tend to do things right here in the North country. Don't worry Mrs. C, he's got lots of folks looking after him.

Plus, in 96 degree heat with 80% humidity, it's difficult for ANYONE to get in too much trouble! (lol)

I'm just down the road about 45 minutes from the Real Rod estate, and believe me, if there was trouble, I'd hear it....
