A close friend of mine said he heard something about a SRT 8 Crossfire coming out, Mercedes V-8 powerplant. Anyone read or heard anything about that possibility??

The SRT-6 is already out, and Crossfire production is ending. I haven;t heard about an SRT-8. Sure would be sweet, though.

Chrysler has already released a crossfire srt, it is the crossfire srt-6 (3.2 L v6 supercharged). No additional plans for anything else in the crossfire srt line to my knowledge. It has been announced that the crossfire will not be redesigned and will be discontinued. Additionally, it was stated that no other "chrysler" vehicle will share so many components with the "mercedes" line ever again. Eventhough the crossfire is not a great seller, I understand it has upset some mercedes dealers due to the quality and price.

If anyone is interested I do have a 2005 Black Crossfire srt6 coupe. MSRP $45, 695 with an invoice of $43,083 and a POA price of $42,583. Sorry there are not any rebates on this one. Also have a 05 srt quad ram (yellow fever package0 and 04 Neon srt. All at special pricing.
