Formula 1 comes to the US.US Grand Prix this Sunday at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, this time with an American driver in the field....Scott Speed. This will be a good race....imagine 960 horse power on a 1500 pound areo-dynamic bullet . The way these cars go through the corners is amazing. I think the tire rules for this year are terrible, let them change tires and race. This message has been edited by Thunder on 06-17-2005 at 11:06 PM

from what I have read Scott Speed will do some laps on Friday but they didn't expect him to be in this race, just getting him prepped for future races

I agree, the new tire rules are just plain stupid,,,,,and getting two races out of a motor? What is Bernie and the board thinking? These teams have budgets of hundreds of millions of $$$,,,tire and motor costs mean nothing to them. Its the end of the world,,,I tell ya,,,,,the end of the world Let 'em race!

Sorry I started this thread....I've never been so disgusted in a sport. I thought Hockey held the tittle for stupidity.
