Rock legend Neil Young is recovering from surgery to correct a brain aneurysm. His doctors said he's expected to make a total recovery. The news cast a pall on the year's Juno Awards, which were organized around the attendance of Winnipeg's biggest musical export. He's recovering at New York's Weill Cornell Medical Center. Long live rock and roll! |

Best wishes for a speedy recovery to the Godfather of Grunge......... His guitar licks in Buffalo Springfield's "For What It's Worth" are immortal ! Many people do not know that Neil is a MAJOR stock holder in Lionel Trains. He purchased enough stock a few years back to have a say in the business. His son is mentally impaired and his Lionel set is very therapeutic. Enough so, that Neil wanted to make sure they stayed in business. |

...for an extraordinary treat--buy or watch the movie [DVD] Dead Man, starring Johnny Depp & a host of other names you'll recognize. Neil Young performs the entire (AND completely instumental) soundtrack! It blows me away! Bet I've watched it ('cuz I own it) at least 10 times. It's a 1995 b&w flick...check it out on the IMDB website: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0112817/ ------------------ |
