My hands are still hurting(BURNED) from years back from Scott, I had the WORLDS MOST EXPENSIVE PAXTON INSTALL by him...Please people of the POA use the search function, you will learn a ton. I posted this a while back. Let me state the facts with Scott.... 1. he installed a trick 4 row radiator 2. he install my Paxton Kit(SuperCharger) 3. had my car for 3 months and I asked him many times that if he couldn't get it done I would take it to Paxton, he promised it would done, WRONG 4. 10 days before My event in Texas(Texas Speed Weekend #1) he told me to pick up the car,,,but it was not done 6. charged me full price 7. had to beg Paxton to finish my car 8. paid paxton another $1000 dollars to finish, header bolts loose, boot on intake ripped,,, another $300, plugs loose, no antifreeze in motor and didn't Run.... and there was more wrong......... One more thing, when I popped(blew up) the motor and took it out he had forgotten to put the clip on the fan and it rubbing terribly into the radiator....
Just the facts and the truth,,,,,,,, again BUYER BEWARE Maybe the actions of the board should be banning shady sellers so no further problems will not happen to the good people of this Board, I know of a couple Discussion Forums that have a ratings of vendors / people / members who sell products, if this was in place here these 70+ posts wouldn't be necessary. It should be the responsibility of the POA do protect the people who support this site. ------------------

Thread has been running 2 weeks and still not a peep from Scott. with over 2000 views most everyone has now been warned if you send him money you may or may not get anything in return. With anything you buy by mail transactions are based on trust & when you can't pay by Paypal or credit card you do not have any recourse. I have bought 100's of items over the internet and Luckly this is the first time I have been bit.Time to let the thread die and move on to brighter subjects, our cars. I don't think Scott's coming back hocking his products for awhile Mike

I really don't want to let this go. The guy has my money and a lot of other member's money. I think we should keep this at the top until he replies or takes care of all this. JMO

The tragedy REALLY is that Scott sells awesome stuff - ALL of his stuff is top notch, first class quality !HOWEVER, he could have/should have taken care of this problem right away by contacing you guys that sent him money OR at least respond to this thread right away, but by letting this thread get out of control with 3+ pages he definitely commited busines-suicide - like I said a tragedy !!

his cash sales from this site should definitely be shot, If he starts taking Paypal or Charge Cards so the buyer has a way to recoup their funds should he deciede to pocket the money would be the only way anyone should buy from him.the way he has dealt with the issues on this thread shows he should be banded from selling on this site. I have bought from Larry Lord, Gary, Shimmers & Real Rod. All have shipped fast & items were as advertised. Mike

Not to let this issue die, but to try to go onto other positive issues as Bama Kat has mentioned; If people who are owed money, or material would email me at jgencon@pacbell.net (yes, a valid email address), I will personally take them over to Scott's and hand them to him. That's a promise. Each and every time I talked to Scott about this his reply was everyone would get the money back owed them. I never wanted to say this on the board as it should be coming from Scott himself. But that was what he stated to me each and every time we talked. Now he is not returning my calls, which concerns me. I just got out of outpatient surgery today, and really cannot drive or else I would make it over to see him in person. I still may. I have always had the luxury of keeping on Scott to get my projects done as I live so close. But I certainly can see how things would get away from him on other projects. In the past I have even forewarned members of possible problems by email and phone. But that is definitely another story. All I can say is it was Scott's intention to return the money owed, and open communications with the people involved. With that not happening as yet concerns me. Not only about the money and items. But now about Scott himself. Sometimes people make more mistakes thinking they are correcting things and it just piles up to huge mess. I want to believe Scott will make this right. Those were his words to me this past Sunday when I last saw him. My email again is jgencon@pacbell.net My phone is 650 280 4228, I prefer email but if you can't, use my cell. I give you my word Scott will see them. I believe he will make this right. As for purchasing again from him, or banning him? It has always been buyer beware on this site and in life. But I also acknowledge people who have ever burned me, past or present, I have never let die and I come to positive solution. I hope this is the case with the members of this board. there are problems and solutions... JD has offered to help all his friends, including Scot, by his offer... everyone has dissapointing moments and if you guys are like me.. your thinking " its not the money , but the principal of the thing "...human nature I remember getting ripped off one time for 1500.00....it nearly drove me crazy .... i couldn't help tell everyone that would listen, all the gory details and how pissed i was.... it totally wrecked my life for about 2 weeks untill i realized i was never going to get the money, and i had to let it go... for my own good. All things happen for a reason and sometimes it takes a while to make sense....Your a good man JD.... MOO (my opinion only)

I guess it's because I know Scott. Both his good and bad points, we all have them. I don't think his motive is to skip out on his responsibilities. At the same time, I don't want the excuses to continue. We all are responsible for our own actions. That's something some people who post to threads should be aware of IMO. As far as quilt by association or a cut in the money, you don't know me. I am the Silver Bullet,,,,, I should have said in the previous post those who send me emails please include a contact phone number. I have received some already, and I promise Scott will see them. This is really all I can do to have this come to a positive conclusion, which is what I would like.
Peace bother Feeling clairvoyant Al???

bamakat hope you get your money back soon.there are a few actions you can take.write a couple of letters to bbb-calif.attorney generals office, for fraud and autocap.auto consumer action program,az has one and im sure ca.does to or something similar.they will put some pressure on him.there are also some pay monthly legal action services, whats great is they can also handle out of stAte problems, about 25.00 a month to have them on retainer.good luck.------------------
