JD, like you say a simple email or phone call goes a long way, his email may be down but his phone works. He called Lindala two times in one day but as you can see several people have money tied up with no product being delivered or being told when of if it will be delivered. if your in business & cannot deliver as promised then the buyer should be contacted & given a chance to either wait or refunded their money so they can buy elsewhere. I have no problem with his quality of work, If I did I would not have continued to buy from him. what I have bought I have been well satisfied. Don't think ANYONE is questionong the guys work ..... just his manners and basic business practices. IMO, after seeing here how he treats people who DO entrust him with their hard earned cash and projects, I would just as soon shop elsewhere -- call me impatient, I couldn't wait 4 months without hearing from someone doing work for me. Oh, and there are places one could go to send an Email if it were important ... guess he feels that these people and their 'concerns' aren't important enough ... not even important enough to use his neighbor's computer ... hmmm. |

quote: Thank god Scott doesn't Have any of my money!!, But i have recommended him the past and was about to place an order with him before this commotion started. I REALLY still don't get it, why is it that someone else is still telling everyone about how. God Scott step up and face the music, I also think having all your friends chiming in for you is really fueling the FIRE. Toys |

This is something all in business should take note of especially with the internet. Bad news travels around the world before good news gets up and puts it's shoes on. Better get your shoes on fast it is almost to late. Mike This message has been edited by mikee on 02-14-2005 at 03:12 PM |

I have purchased many items from Scott and found them all to be top quality. I have never had difficulty receiving the merchandise, however, it usually takes a few weeks longer than other vender channels. Scott has always returned my calls when I have left a message. Don't give up on Scott, he will deliver. |

........there you go....... Now, seriously - years ago you COULD have a good product ONLY but these days it's allllll about customer service - being a manufacturer myself and knowing the customer's demand for services, the former philosophy of "having a good product only" won't cut it anymore - in this age of communication marvels like telephones, emails, voicemail, cell phones etc. IMO it's unacceptable to give a customer the perverbial "cold shoulder" - no matter WHAT the problem might be (unless you're in a coma in a hospital) but it's NOT acceptable to "pocket" someone's $$ for months without any kind of notification, update, explanation etc. JMO |

I think that for the majority, we here in the POA are a buch of good natured, forgiving, understanding people. I am sure that a few phone calls and a few emails would set everthing right. It just seems too easy to not do. JMO ------------------ |

It's time you people take some action. Call the Postal Inspectors and lodge a complaint and/or the consumer affairs division of the state attorney general's office from the state that Scott resides in. You people waited far to long to get your merchandise or money back. From what I have been reading the guy has been totally unreasonable. No way to run a business. |
