...One very cold January night seventy three years ago, a cantankerous Ezra Dempsey made a ten dollar bet with his poker buddies that he could hold his breath while all the sand fell to the bottom of the hourglass....unfortunately, for the very stubborn Ezra, an oversized grain of sand stopped the flow of time and the contest took on a rather macabre twist....
