What would you pay for a 2 acre parcel of vacant land. This piece of land is located in the Port Royal area of Naples, Florida which is widely regarded as the most exclusive area of the world. Now don't forget, this is only land, there are no buildings. It does however have frontage on the Gulf of Mexico on one side and Naples Bay on the other. Gordon Drive, address of some very large opulent estates runs through the center of the property. What's your bid? $500,000?? $1,000,000???? The land is currently listed for a whopping $32.9 million
....but don't worry, there is no real estate bubble This message has been edited by Wayne Finch on 02-07-2005 at 09:37 PM

this would explain why there are so many "out of towners" buying property in Nova Scotia.... 185 acres of good land, on a point, on the atlantic, 2 miles of ocean frontage,$85,000 canadian. Wayne Ronstadt, a TV personality, purchased it....he is canadian, but 90% of all the land sold in my area is being bought by Germans. Alot of the Islands are selling off very quickly. I heard on the radio the other day that there are more shopping centers in Florida than there is in the whole of Canada...

Wayne, Year before last, Naples was the fastest growing city in the United States. With the weather being tropical, and the beautiful beaches, it was only a matter of time before it would explode. Nicer than going to the East Coast in my opinion. Ft Laud, Miami, Pompano, all very crowded. Mike

Wasn't there a $30 million dollar brand new never lived in home built for one of the Coke or Woolworth aires that they bought and blew up in a Will Smith movie?I know the dollar amount, the actor, and the movie are true, I just forget the exact location or who the aire was that decided never to live in it.
