A friend of mine told me to always take a bag of potatoe chips with me when i go hiking for survival purposes....
I thought he was crazy seeing as chips with salt would make someone thirsty , something not to desirable when lost in the wilderness.....
he told me they are not for eating but for starting a fire... they ignite even when damp....

try it, you will think twice when you eat them after that !!

Well at least one item on the list isn't true. I remember watching "Myth Busters" and they tested this and found that what happens is the quack actually does echo but the sound waves behave differently than other sounds. I don't remember the exact conclusion to this, but it definitely echos.
