Ed - I thought the Ohio river was wider than 1/2 mile at Downtown Cincinnati? I'll have to see what our schedule is but hope we can make it. |

Marty, the river is narrower here than in Louisville. KY still claims the river is theirs but I am going from the south shore high water mark in my 1/2 mile estimate. lol I hope you guys can make it. |

Ed thanks for the directions I was wondering how to get to the restaurant.Time will be short that day as traveling 500 miles will take 10 hours any way you look at it.I'm just hoping for good weather. We will not make Hotel reservations as we will stay with CJ and Bob,They normally get a large room anyway. ------------------ This message has been edited by meancat on 02-16-2005 at 09:21 AM |

Only if you want to drive another hour and half further away from Michigan. You want me to do a search for hotels within 1/2 mile of the restaurant so you can walk to your room? |

Jerry, you can cut the 10 hour drive in half by going 100 MPH. Tell them you are the Mayor and you know me. With any luck you will be out in time for the trip to the Dells. This message has been edited by ed monahan on 02-16-2005 at 02:45 AM |

Jerry, we have a hotel reservation at the Holiday Inn in Newport........Kim told me you were the one that snores, so she's invited to stay with us.......but you'll have to find your own room. Don't know if Gatlins are going, but if you want to travel down together, let us know. We were planning on leaving sometime Saturday morning. |
