A/C..........we've had quarterbacks before that we didn't like.........but we still supported the team. Denver fans are like that.........I've been a big fan since we moved there in 1972. Followed Elway his entire career. He didn't do as well as he should have in the beginning, but then he didn't have enough talent around him to help. The world expected him to carry the team on his own.......well, with the new owner and better coaches, that changed. Mike Shanahan (in my opinion) is the best coach they've ever had. I think he's a great coach. The way I see it, the quarterback is our biggest problem........and if you don't have a quarterback that can lead the team........the team has a more difficult time gelling.

Let's face it........it's not been the same since Elway left and probably NEVER will be.........but a fan I will always be no matter what......and if some of the fans leave and want to give up their season tickets........I'd be happy to take them off their hands. There is always a rebuilding period when you change QB's and having Brian Griese didn't help either.......talk about overrated..........You did miss the second half and they did play a lot better.......even Plummer.......just to bad he couldn't get it together the first half.

Not everything wrong with Denver's defense. They ranked pretty high most of the season. Plummer and his antics brought them down........makes it difficult to play when you're frustrated with your QB.....Denver got beat in a lot of Super Bowls, too.....but they made it back and won two of them back to back. There are a lot of teams out there who have never done half of what Denver has accomplished over the years.

I like Bob's picks too. His picks are where my heart is, but the Pats & Eagles have broken my heart before and may just do it again.

My son and I are in a funk since the Panthers had their chances and didn't produce. We're still proud of them since they got competitive after losing 14 starters due to season ending injuries and starting out 1-7. They showed a lot of character.

My sentimental pick is the Colts. Manning has had an unbelievable season and he's such a class act that I'd like to see him get a ring.

Jets
Colts
Falcons
Eagles All should be good games,& go down to the final minutes. Jets outplayed the Steelers in the first half in their first meeting. Jets had 12 penaltys, which isn't like them. Pennington threw a few interceptions, & wasn't healthy. I expect the Jets to more then show up Saturday. JETS! JETS! JETS!
I like Ben R. I thought he was the best QB going into the draft last year! But he is a Rookie playing in his first season & Playoff game.

Chuck, you are delusional. lol. Jets will get blasted this week. Big Ben is the real deal. He has been in big games before. I think they Steelers may win it all.
Of couse all teams look good compared to the local minor league team, The Bungles.

Delusional????????No way! I guess you guys didn't see any of the first game. Jets controled the first 3 quarters. It was a pass by Jerome Bettis that scored the winning touchdown. I'll bet any of you he doesn't do it this week. 12 penalties killed the Jets! Like I said I like Ben but everyone thinks Peyton Manning is all world and he hasn't won many Playoff games before this year! Brett Farve is going to Pro Football hall of fame someday and he didn't look to good Sunday! The jets won't get blown out. If Eric Barton and the rest of the Jets can use their heads, Jets will be in AFC championship game Next Week.

I just got back from vacation and could not wait to get back on POA. I searched frantically for Chuck's gloat about the Chargers Jets game and frankly was surprised at how subdued it was. Unfortunately I was in Jamaica and did not get to see the game, but I did TIVO it and will watch it this week sometime. I did get $500 each for my tickets though so it wasn't a total loss.

There is a good reason why Marty is called Mr. One and Done.

Jets did all they could do to give the game to the Chargers. I feel bad for their Kicker. M Brien, Jets kicker missed one early in the game also. Its amazing one mistake and your a loser. Bills should have beaten the Giants a few years back (Super Bowl) when Norwood missed that game ending Field goal. Games should be very good this weekend.
