TO OUR FRIENDS IN CANADA AND AROUND THE WORLD WHO CELEBRATE BOXING DAY. I DO KNOW ALITTLE ABOUT IT, NOT ENOUGH TO BE KNOWLEDGEABLE COMPLETLY. TELL US ALL HOW IT CAME TO BE AND WHAT'S IT ALL ABOUT. WOULD REALLY LIKE TO KNOW AS IT SOUNDED LIKE A GOOD THING. PAM AND TOM GULYAS

HAPPY BOXING DAY!

I am not postitive but I think there are about 8 weight classes. From featherweight to heavyweight. I could be wrong, though. Three rounds to 15 rounds. That is all the info I have.

I'll wait for the Canucks to tell us,,,,but I heard Box Day was started as a way to give a gift to the servants who worked as domestics for the wealthy???

We went to our friends from England yesterday, as we do most years for Boxing Day. In addition to the usual imported-from-England items, we had the leftover Turducken. First time I've had it, veRRRRy interesting.

I don't remember any English people on Long Island when I lived there.
