What did Santa Claus give you for Christmas that is Prowler related?
I got several things. Sandy gave me a T-Shirt that she got at Daytona that is just like Jay "Yeller Cat's T-shirt. It has an "old" Prowler sitting in front of an abandoned 57-59 Plymouth in an overgrown field with a an abandoned General Store/Gas Station in the background. A Sinclair and Texaco sign as well as a Coca Cola sign on the building. It is black and white, possibly a pencil drawing. She liked it so much she bought a print of the same scene numbered to 500 copies. The guy is from Gatlinburg. It is very nice.
I also got a phone call from GaryE that my chromed front end is finished and on the way (hopefully). He was not sure UPS was working Friday to ship it. Sandy does not know about that gift yet. I figured someone should be surprised if it is a Christmas gift. Hopefully she will be surprised (especially when I tell her she bought it for me for Christmas, lol). I am anxious to get it re-assembled. Ken G. helped me disassemble it but it was a lot warmer then.
So what did you get?

Sandi may be surprised, but she will be more surprised when the credit card bill comes in.

Only on my second coffee and already Ed has me in tears.

Ed - I told Lethia that is one helluva idea of yours,,,,just order stuff you want and after it arrives, just tell Sandy she is buying it for you as a gift.
Think I'm going to give this new concept a try in 2005.
Thanks Ed

A/C, the key is to not marry Lethia before you pull that one. It saves divorce costs. lol Trust me on that.

Ed you need to really enjoy that T-shirt. It took Sandy three hours to get it for you. She had to walk the speedway twice to get it. She must really see something in you. LOL
Merry Christmas.

That doesn't sound right,,,,you might want to send Dan a email to see what happened to your order.

Frank, she told me the story of him not accepting credit cards, then she walked all the way back to get a check and didn't have any left so she had to go to the ATM. I am surprised she didn't get money from me (or you).

Dan got me cotton candy bumper Shimmers, which I've wanted ever since I saw them on Linda's car at our first Prowler cruise back in May. Our car is looking more like hers all the time, especially now that we've ditched the front license plate bracket (but that's another story by itself). They were made the same month too. hehe Now my torture is that, if I follow the directions, I have to wait until it's 70 degrees to install the Shimmers, and that likely won't happen anytime soon. Sigh...

I got something I REALLY needed - a Craftsmen mechanics tool box. I asked for gift certificates or cash to get the one I wanted. I don't need something as nice as the big Snap On box.

My old box was a third generation hand-me-down. My son is going to be the fourth generation owner of the old box. He and I plan to work on the sliders and repaint it Saturday. My Dad & I are going to set him up with some of the family "heirloom" tools. Some of these tools have stories with them. My Grandfather's farm tools, my Dad's when he was Drag'gin with Ronnie Sox, etc.
