After reading Meancat's post about the New Years eve party in Michigan I was
wondering if there are any "gatherings" for us SouthEasteners ?

Anybody got an idea worth going to ? Me, just wondering.............

Dustis don't sit home alone watching the wind go by,Jump in the car and drive or fly on up here where a good time is a sure thing. And for our non drinkers we have sparkling white alcohol free wine as well.Infact everyone in the southeast should come.

Dusti - he said all expenses are paid. Just tell him what airline to buy you the ticket on and pick it up at the gate. After all, when was the last time you hopped a plane just to go to a party? Make sure you tell him to get a first class ticket.

This will be the first time in a while we have decided to stay home for New Year's Eve. No tux, no crowds, no police checkpoints to avoid. We're going to have a few friends over to watch Louiville beat Boise State in the Liberty Bowl that afternoon, grill out, play cards and watch TV at midnight.

Oh my Gawd - I just read my post above and realized we've grown and become our parents. I'll have to make up for it at some POA events in 2005.

Well, we sure would looooove to come up to Michigan and attend the "Moddersville-extravaganza", but unfortunately it's too far away for us since we gotta leave on a business trip the week after.

But it sounds like a ton of fun and I'm sure I'll be kickin' myself when y'all post pics on the board.

Guess we'll do like the "Ushers", stayin' home, passin' out on the Sofa around 11pm.......sounds lovely ! :

Actually, it doesn't specify the city of Moddersville pays all the expenses once you get here. But if I thought you'd buy me a plane ticket there, I'd have already RSVP'd. I'm sure many others would have too. : My comment was made tongue-in-cheek. I hope I didn't make you incur any unexpected expenses.
