Beatles....
Doors.....
Jan and Dean......
Beach Boys.......

...had a chance to see the Beatles once, but I was not allowed to go....I was invited to see them at the Indiana State Fair in 1964 by my best buddy and his mom, but I was grounded for some "minor infraction" by MY mom, AKA the Warden.....my buddy reminds me of this quite often...

...several of my buddies and I have hired the group "1964, The Tribute" to put on a charity event the last 3 years....this is the best Beatles clone out there....if you ever get a chance to see them, please do.....they are great...

the Tribute playing at the Cavern, Liverpoole....

We saw the Beach Boys in '84 (?). Of course there weren't too many of the originals left by then.

Should have gone to Elvis's last concert. I had thought about it but do not remember why I didn't go.

Would like to see Neil Diamond

Seen Jan & Dean in 2000 at the state fair grounds. I guess I expected too much, what a disappointment and so sad to see Jan on stage trying to sing, needing a hair cut really bad. I had the Prowler at the World of Wheels in Indy that weekend and my daughter went to stay with the car and Sue and I went to the concert. Had Jan sign a picture of the Cat but he also sighed for Dean as best he could.

Just after I entered the USAF in 1968, Jimi Hendrix and Janis Joplin came to Kansas City, Missouri. So I missed both concerts and my "friends" were only too anxious to write me and tell me everything I missed.

I also missed an opportunity to see The Who.

Just heard on CNN that ... get this .... QUEEN Will rock again ... perhaps next year, but the bad news, the tour would be just across Europe ... maybe will have to travel "accross the pond" after all. Wonder if will be the same without Freddie or if will be like Styx without Dennis DeYoung and any other band without their signature performer?

I saw Deep Purple on their "Perfect Strangers Tour". They were great. Jon Lord has his massive keyboards set up on rockers, so when he tears into a solo, he rocks the entire thing back and forth like a maniac....really cool.

Next best thing, get Deep Purple concerts on DVD...I have some amazing concerts on DVD.

Perhaps like AC/DC when their singer OD'd, the replacement sounded similar but, better then the original.

Who knows......
