Since you guys have been talking about Motley Crue and your best concerts I thought some of you might be Pantera fans. Last night at a concert, Dimebag Darrel was shot 5-6 times and is dead. Just heard the news...

Just heard that also,,,,,,,,,,,,,big loss. Only in Ohio do they have concerts with live gunfire. He played for a new group - Damage Plan,,,,one of my favorite bands, right above the rapper groups.

Sad, it was in the paper this morning. Several people were killed. Some nut ran up on stage and just started shooting. Police killed the shooter.

I hope the cop doesn't get in trouble for shooting the killer. In todays liberal thinking the cop violated the bum's rights!

I believe its a strip club. I went to high school in Plano and it was always said that the brothers went to school there a couple years before me. Everyone I went to school with claimed to know someone who knew someone that knew the guys from Pantera. Kind of like here in Detroit where everyone knows someone who knows Kid Rock and Eminem.

On Howard Stern this morning they were saying that when the guy went on stage he was yelling "you broke up Pantera". Don't know how true that is.

I am with Tangled. Who? I haven't read the paper yet. Was this the shooting in Columbus? That is where Ohio State is located. Was it a campus deal?

Didn't happen at any place at the campus. He was someone that was synonymous with really heavy, almost speed metal. Can't say I was a large fan, but you figure the guy wanted to be like the idiot who shot John Lennon, same day kinda thing. Probably made more money from his signature guitars and column than from record sales. Pantera was a regular "Beavis" band. Just takes one nut bag...

Local news reported this morning that the crowd thought at first it was all just part of the show.
*interesting... it JUST NOW is on the news report* - nothing new to report

Yes it is a strip club, called The Clubhouse....

There are lots of people leaving flowers around the club as a memorial.

Sorry to see someone go out like that.
