I always drive up to the Barrett-Jackson auction, and don't forget to stop by the car show at the Pavilions on the way back.

Prowlin' - On saturday, after the B-J auction,,,,stop by the Scottsdale Pavilions, our local weekly car show. There should be around 1,000 cars to view and nearly 10,000 spectators. Go south from the B/J show and take the 101 freeway SOUTH,,,,then exit at Indian Bend Road, turn right, one long block west, and you'll see a McDonalds on your right hand side,,,,,your there. If you see some Prowlers, grab somebody and say hello.

Save me a spot. I am only coming with (1) car now. I'll be bringng the Cobra that I had advertised for sale in the classifieds before Christmas. I'll be in town on Friday night around 7:00pm.

What is the best time to arrive at the Pavilions on Saturday?

I'm flying in on Thursday morning and will be there til Sunday. Alley Cat I hope to see you again, and possibly others. My business partner bought Johnny Cash's " Stutz Bearcat" to sell at "B-J". It was picked up today by the car carrier and should be there by the time we arrive. Bob G. Iwill look for you.

Norb - check both your email and PM inbox,,,I left you a detailed message.

Jim - looks like rain this coming weekend but since you are going to the B-J auction,,,its held indoors.
Dress for rain and cool temps,,,,,,,might need mud boots out at B-J ? Have fun!!!

With the advise from Larry and a few other friends of mine in AZ, the expected rain in AZ this weekend has cancelled my trip. It's kind of hard to show a convertible in the rain let alone if no one show up due to the rain. I want to come in Feb during a clear weather weekend. Hope to see everyone soon.

Chuck - what I posted in another thread:

All time B-Jackson record selling price for a car today - 1954 Olds F-88 GM Concept Car, Corvette look with a Olds frontend and different rear end look,,, 1 of 1:

3 million dollars,,,,,,yes THREE MILLION $$$

The car is going to the Gateway Auto Museum in Colorado,,,wherever that is? The excitement in the WestWorld bidding hall went wild as this car reached 1 million $$$, and continued to build as the car went over 2M, and the house was rocking as it approached 3M $. Three people were bidding against each other, two in person, and one over the phone lines [reported to be a GM representative who was trying to buy the car back for GM to place in it's car museum].
