A tornado touched down in Addison Township, which is about 13 miles north of where we live in Rochester Hills, MI. Got pretty ugly looking around here and the sirens were blaring! |

We had some damage here in Arkansas. Tore up a lot of homes just south of where I live, about 15 miles. We have so many around here it ain't such a big thing, unless it's coming right at you. The land is so flat around here you can watch them at a safe distance. To all the people in the country that had damage and lost loved ones, you all are in my prayers. |

A few small ones touched down in NC. Lots of hail damage here in Greensboro. None of my vehicles (personal or co.) were damaged, but most of my neighbors had hail damage. Calling for more this afternoon. Thoughts and prayers go out to those who lost loved ones. ------------------ |

I hope my drive from Houston to Indy will be a safe one in the next 30 hours. ------------------ |

It is 3:30 PM here and one tornado is on the ground 30 miles south of here now. Another is about 10 miles south of that. Another on the ground about 40 SW of there. Mean looking around here now. Awesome cloud formations went over here a few minutes ago as I was finishing yard mowing. |

Saturday afternoon 2:00 PM. Tornado hit half mile south of our house Thurs afternoon. Tore up a lot of power lines and a storage unit. Rolled some empty grain bins 1 mile across the fields just south of our house. Last night one hit 2 miles north of us. Minor damage to local barns and farm equipment. At the same time one was on the ground 10 miles south of here. Lots of hail damage and trees torn up. Today weather man warns more forming to our west. So far the Kat has stayed in the garage. Don't know what good that will do if one of the twisters hits us dead center? |

National Weather Service says over 300 twisters this week so far. Most ever recorded in that short of period. |

5:30 PM Sat. 3 more on the ground this afternoon. One went by about 30 mi. north of us. Another 20 mi. north of us and the big one was on the ground about 1 mile west of us headed this way when we took shelter. I wonder who is out to get us. If I don't make it, maybe I should donate what is left of the Gray Ghost to POA. You could raffle it off to raise money for the web site. Hope it makes lots of money for POA. |

My brothers house got hit, doesnt even look like it ever was a house... I just got the photo last night. My brother, wife and 2 kids rode it out in the bathtub with a mattress over them. They all walked away |

Virtually everyone I know in TX (that I deal with on a daily basis) has hail damage to either their house or car. I've been lucky so far. t ------------------ 1999 Black w/NeoBlue Streetglow Gold Series |

Gary - yes it does turn a greenish in color. One hit at the other end of my block a few years back. It also went from all hell breaking loose to total dead silence in a split second. That was the tornado sucking all the rain and wind out of my area. That was too close for comfort, but when it brought everything to a total standstill, I knew what it was and that it was close. |
