I guess I missed all the scoop on Home Improvement and a Prowler?? Just thought I'd mention this little trivia tidbit tho... A guy I talked to locally a few years back does appraisals for Prowlers for insurance purposes. He knows them well, as he used to have a '97 himself. It was Prowler #8 and he said he sold it to Tim Allen for "an offer I couldn't refuse."

idive, I am sorry but that is not a Prowler. Tim Allen may own one, but that is not it. That is a custom made track style street rod made especially for Tim Allen. I will try and find the article in the hot rodding magazine where the car was introduced. There were actually two made one is bigger than the other. It is a very cool ride but it is not a Prowler. The body and frame are both hand formed as I recall.

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to insinuate that the car in the above pictures was a Prowler. I know it's not. I was just offering a bit of trivia. From mathew46's post, I got the impression that they were supposed to have a Prowler on the show, and I hadn't heard anything about that before reading his post. I guess my comment was a little confusing. Sorry 'bout that.

Although definitely not a prowler the car still looked nice.

Can't remember the last time we laughed so hard it hurt.

Great show !
