prowlergirl - sorry to hear about your wrist. My last time on ice skates I was racing my daughter who was 12 at the time. I caught a tip on the ice, fell and fractured four ribs. Sounds like I should stay away from scooters, too.

Hope you heal quickly.

Todd - you got that right. It hurt to smile, it hurt to laugh, it hurt to move in my chair. The worst part was to my ego - letting my 12 year old daughter lap me on the ice skating rink. That was 5 1/2 years ago and I have not even been to another Hockey game, much less thought about strapping on skates again.

I sure hope prowlergirl gets well soon and CAREFULLY back on her scooter!

Sorry to hear about your wrist. Hope its not the hand you use for writing or shifting. Get well soon, bikes are very dangerous. My 3rd cousin got one for his 16th birthday, drove it out the driveway was hit by 3 old ladies going for a ride, died right there in the middle of the road. Needless to say i never owned a Motorcycle growing up.
