This will take you just 10 seconds to send a message via the Defense Department. (Only 6.5 million were registered as of this morning.) I am thankful for the service of the sons and daughters of POA members.

Good Post!!!! I'm in the Merchant Marine and have been taking military gear over there non-stop for the past 6 months. Here are a couple of pictures of some of the equipment that is taking care of our military. Delivered courtesy of the United States Merchant Marine. Putting the fear of Allah in the hearts of the Republican Guard courtesy the United States Army’s Armored Cav. It doesn’t matter if you are for or against the war as long as you support our soldiers that are over there. JMTC.

I have SO tried to stay away from the war-related posts, but I have to comment on something that Voodoo said in his post, to the effect that it doesn't matter if you are in favor of the war or not, as long as you support the soldiers that are over there in harm's way.

Unfortunately, this is a distinction that a lot of people are missing in their frenzy to take one side or the other on this war. Being against the decision to go to war does not also mean that you do not support the troops doing their duty. Two different issues, and Voodoo made that clear.

BTW, Voodoo, my dad graduated King's Point and served 4 years in the South Pacific in WWII as a 1st Lt!!

The cover story on that site today shows the USS Rainier. A few years ago (Jan 2000), I sailed (as a civilian), on the Rainier sister ship (the AOE-10 USS Bridge) from Bremerton, Washington (near Seattle) to Japan. You can see my pictures here of the USS Rainier, USS Bridge, the John C Stennis Carrier Battle Group, and some Japananse ships too:

This was my favorite day at sea... (YEAH RIGHT!!!)...

To put this picture in perspective... this BIG ship is about 3/4 the length of a carrier...

Back to the top. Now at 13.7 million. (And I know we're all waiting to hear good news from POA members.)
