Dinner last night with Marty, Fixumm, Mrs Fixit, Colleen and I was a good time. We went to the "Stage Stop" in Wilmont WI. it was a stage stop back in 1848. We talked about eveything, earlier in the day at Norm's we got to talk to Norm about Prowler motors, very interesting guy.
This morning I will pickup Marty, go to breakfast then on to O'Hare to drop Marty off.

Gary,
I had to tuck him in last night. I took him to breakfast this morning Marty paid. Then I dropped him off at O'Hare.
NOW I can go back to Norm's and see what extra parts I can find, while Norm works on his motor.

Just talked to Marty, his was the 3rd plane to land at DIA since the airport closed Tuesday afternoon. I70 just opened and he is headed to Copper Mountain for a few days. 3-4 feet of snow on the ground and he sees a guy on a Harley on the highway. Must be the altitude. We hope to meet up next week for lunch, I'll be sure to bring extra napkins.
Hey Bob see if you can snag me a few parts, pistons maybe?

Marc,
Well now you have some snow. The only pistons I saw yesterday where from John Davies motor and they where broken real good. But I will look again when Norm calls me to bring my car up there to dyno a base line which he can base all of his data from.

It is always ncie to visit with POA friends when traveling. I noticed Gary didn't mention his Hi Boy is on the way to him. Be sure to post when it gets to INDY.

Fixxum - you sure you and Sharon will have enough garage space for all your vehicles? The Ford 250 4 x 4 makes the fourth vehicle I have seen you drive and I haven't seen the Hummer Sharon drives daily.

Bob - thanks for the Taxi service. The choice of restaurants was good too. We'll look forward to seeing you and Colleen in Louisville. Let me know when you plan to get your kat to Norm for a dyno run.

Marc- I saw the Harley on I-70 near the West Colfax exit and then 6 miles later the state troopers had the road closed (all the way to Silverthorne) AS of now I can travel south then take the back roads and enter Copper through Leadville. I am waiting to see if I-70 opens later today. I will call you over the weekend to see if you ever got out of your subdivision.

After talking with Norm I decided to have a new engine built rather than rebuild mine. It won't be stroked (damn that would be nice) but will have new upgraded flat top pistons with rings mounted lower, larger/stronger valves - both intake and exhaust, new camshafts, cylinder heads will be ported and polished, plenum reworked and Norm will reinstall my nitrous kit, dyno & tune and check fuel/air flow. Target HP (without nitrous) is 300 plus. Also torque figure will be vaqstly increased. The engine components will be able to withstand the heat generated by the nitrous.
