Even a quote from Bob Longstreth himself.

Pretty good article, want the HEMI to be sold as crate motors for the hot rodder.

Quiet Dan,, you know too much already. I'm serious.

It's on page 45 of The February issue.

Bob's line.

"With all the excitement surrounding the introduction of this engine I see an exciting future. For example, can you imagine a lightweight Ram 1500 with the blown and intercooled version we showed at SEMA"

Just thought you'd like to know, where I'm headed next. .

I liked the article by one of the writers for Drive! that took the SoCal Prowler for a long distance cruise. I think it was in the previous issue. If someone can find it, please post it for people to read. The guy talks about deploying the "air brakes" (rear decklid opened) at speed. I ask SoCal if the car was badly damaged. Never did receive an answer.

John, I forgot to mention that I was talking to Norm today about my Rambler and the progress of the motor for it. He asked me if I'd heard from you at all. He was curious if the "crate" arrived yet. He said he shipped it about 12 days ago. Make sure that when you receive it, you let Norm know and he will be interested to know what you think of the modifications. He thinks you're going to be real happy!

It came today, will let you know. Don't know what to say. It's going to take some time, but I'm pretty prepared I think.

Thank Norm once again, or I will call tomorrow.

And thank you too Bob ,,

So John - you have been real quiet about what you have been doing. You planning on spring a surprise on everyone? That's OK.

You thinking about bringing the Silver Bullet to Louisiana in October so you can see how it stacks up against other kats?

That would be a good time frame if it's in October Marty.

And I still like this quote from you.

I don't know you two well enough to tell where the line is between friends poking fun at each other or maybe getting in a little dig. I would like to think Dan was trying to get your attention away from last weeks game. Besides, maybe Dan could use a new paint job.

I hope you can make it to Louisiana (I hope I can make it to Louisiana)

Marty,

John is a ***** cat ... He would not hurt a fly ..

He wants people to stress over what he might be contemplating. It feeds his ego!!

The other day I asked to him to start his Kat but since he saw that I really desired it, he made me suffer by telling me no... I knew he was enjoying that fact that he might have something I want.

Once you meet him you will like him. He looks like he will kick your *** if you touch him but he has a huge loving heart inside.

Later...

Thanks for the translation Dan. Maybe if you made *****cat all one word and typed jack*** all the letters would print!

I guess you will have to figure out what mods John has secretly made. I wouldn't want anyone to get totally surprised. I am sure Marc is wondering what he has been doing to the Silver Bullet, too. Let us know if you figure it out!

JD
Get that stuff rescheduled and get on with the project.
Heck I may even have to make a trip to NorCal to see how it stacks up. Maybe we can get Dan to join us and have a real blow up. I mean blow out.
