I'm at a loss. I never would have thought so many things would happen. 5 Interceptions I'm pretty humbled right now, well shell shocked is a better word. Either Tampa Bay is that good, or the Raiders played that bad on one day will be left up to whatever fan you are, or what team you hate is probably more like it. I'll take my lumps and the hits on here. I also will put up the same two teams for 10 games and bet the Raiders win at least 7 of them. But, and it's true. They only had to play one game for keeps. Tampa Bay came to play and took it to the Raiders big time. My hats off to them. I guess all is right with the world in other parts of the country. All those "other" teams that didn't make it to the big dance can sit back and trash talk the Raiders, their fans, for another year. It was a great run, I'm proud of my team. We had a great run, only one other in the league had a better one.
Congrats to the true fans. You have a great defense. ------------------

John..........I can totally relate to your feelings, having been there numerous times with the Broncos. It's hard to lose when you've come that far, but hey...at least you made it that far.....and there's always next year. Congrats again on the AFC Championship!!  |

JD West - I'm NOT going to crow on you. But,,, I can tell you that Tampa Bay's defense was that good. That will not make you feel much better, but nobody was going to score 20 points on them today! There is no shame in losing when playing for all the marbles,,,,,atleast they got to that point. We'll trade the Cardinals for the Raiders? I thought not |

John - glad you are not giving up on life over this. As disappointing as it is to lose in a big game, at least your team got there. The Raiders certainly have some of most rabid fans, that's for sure. |

i wanted tampa to win, new team fresh they totally dominated oakland and oakland is a good team! That's why the patriots won it last year, they played with total spirit and wisdom from within. unfortunately oakland didn't really have a chance when you play completely as a team like that! |

Hey John You're a stand up guy for taking the heat. Went to the bowl in '87 and '88 and watched the Broncos get killed in person. Swore I'd never go to another Super Bowl. Not much fun sittin' there and watching the other team and fans celebrate. Hey at least the Raiders made it while most of our teams were watchin' it just like the rest of us. ------------------ |

UHhhhhh not all interceptions are FORCED ERRORS,, just so you know.. But I get your drift. And respect your right to say anything one cares too. No matter how uniformed it is. talk show radio???? lol And, thanks Marc, they cant give me enough heat.. lol |

In fact, My team is a team that either people want to hate, for some far out reasons about Al Davis or whatever, they really have no clue. Or they all want to be like them. Just check the stands where the Raiders play away. You see the colors everywhere. People can't handle that. It shows,,lol Ok I'm done, for now, bring it on,,lol,,

Your right, but maybe now all eyes will be on the Tampa Bay games..  Raiders got their a$$ kicked for sure, not denying that. But Dan, I didn't even mind you calling me, playing the dummy as to what the score was and who won.(actually thought it was normal, lol). Could even take the Tampa Bay web site. But when you prevent someone from posting?? Not a home boy man definitely not Nor Cal boy. And congrats to you Prowler Babe. I'm just glad you are posting again Silver Bullet!! I was getting worried.... You used to give me heat over not posting or making cruises and now find your kinda doing it ever since you found yourself a fine woman... Amazing how things change. You just could not understand why I would disappear for a while then reappear. Now you find yourself sucking your own medicine. It's cool!! I understand!! |
