Good one Norm! lol! Not sure about the flagpole, but...

We had a heat wave today.......24 degrees. Had a winter sweater on, but my down jacket over that was way to warm!!! Left the jacket in the car while I was running errands........sun was out..........great day!

Funny,funny!
I just have one thing to add!
Ontarians rarely visit Michigan because they think it's way too warm down there(to us -460 is liveable)

Great and timely.

Yeah, here in NC they do reach for heat at 60.

You ought to see 'um when snow is predicted. Gas stations fill up and the grocery stores are swamped with milk and bread shoppers!

The streets are VERY unsafe not because of the weather on them, but due to the inexperienced snow/ice drivers. Our city has 7 unis/colleges for a total student population of approx. 40,000. Many of these students are from the warm deep south and have never seen snow/ice, much less driven in it. A formula right out of a body shop owner's dream!

CJ,
Small world, my grandpa's house, the house my dad grew up in, was on Hayes, south side of 9 mile 4 or 5 blocks west of Gratiot.

Take Care,
Duane

I don't expect you to believe this but it was 33 degrees out today and I saw a guy in shorts and a T-shirt about 4 PM. No wind and the sun was out but still it was 33. I saw several others with just T-shirts.
I guess it felt warm compared to the past few weeks.

Duane............I grew up on Deerfield. The first block off Gratiot. Deerfield is just a few blocks north of 9 Mile. I went to St. Peter's Lutheran School, which was directly on the other side of Gratiot across from my street. Bob grew up on Nevada which was about 3 blocks east of Gratiot just off Nine Mile Road!!
