Ward's AutoWorld named the HEMI Magnum 5.7-liter V-8 as one of 2003's 10 best engines. The HEMI Magnum is "the new-generation reincarnation of the fabled HEMI V-8 of the muscle-car past," according to Ward's Auto World. The new HEMI is 41 percent more powerful, churns out 12 percent more torque and is about 10 percent more fuel efficient than the 5.9 liter OHV V-8 it replaces for use in Dodge Ram and Ram Heavy Duty pickups. According to Ward's, the HEMI Magnum whips its two closest rivals: GM's six-liter Vortec HO 6000 and Ford's upcoming 5.4-liter, three-valve Triton overhead cammer.

Wards is correct!

My new HEMI pickup is great!
Better than 11.5 MPG around town so far and bunches of torque.

I highly recommend this engine and the truck.
Thanks again Bob and CJ for the Friends and Family deal.

Picked up my new Silver long bed 1500 today. Awesome. I don't have enough miles on it yet to get a good mileage, but the torque is there for sure.

And yes, a big THANK YOU to Bob and CJ for all your help in this.

Linda and I both love our new Hemi 1500. I have between 6 and 700 miles so far and we are averaging over 12 MPG around town so far and only expect it to get better.

She's Here !!!

The truck that is, Patty comes soon.
I'm really happy. Already took it to Reno and back. I don't have the side mirrors like Rich, wish I had thought of it. But the only hauling I am doing is U-Haul trailers for demolition, LoL.
But it does have the stereo controls on the steering wheel.

Thanks again Bob and CJ

May not look it, but it's a 8 foot bed.
