Was just curious how many of us actually use seatbelts on a regular basis...I must admit stupidity on this issue.....I was lucky one time many years ago, but I didn't learn my lesson well....seatbelt usage was not stressed much when I was a kid....and to this day the only time I really strap myself in(5 point harness) is when driving a Viper, because I know there is a good chance I may be in for some excess speed....I try to get in the habit from time to time, but I usually forget....this will be my New Years resolution.....

I ABSOLUTELY, POSITIVELY ALWAYS wear my seatbelt. It's the single best gift you can give to yourself and your loved ones.

Best of luck keeping that resolution! Soon it will become a habit.

It wasn't until I bought my former Corvette, that I started to wear the seatbelt. Wasn't because I wanted to, just that the law was on the lookout for those not wearing them. Now, I wear them in all my vehicles and believe in them. I'm not too keen on the air bags exploding in the face, but the experts say "its all good". JMO

I too always wear my seat belt, it started back in '69 when I bought a '69 Nova SS 396 cu in 375 hp and I could not keep myself in the bucket seat, started to wear it then and now I don't feel comfortable with out one.

ALWAYS...since I have become accustom to wearing it I'm uncomfortable without it...If I drive the F700 dump truck or motorhome (exempt) I still wear it

BE SAFE WEAR IT

The first time I took the doors off my 1984 Jeep CJ I decided to wear my seatbelts. Keeping the doors off most of the time, the seatbelts became a habit rather quickly. Now I feel totally uncomfortable if I can't feel the belts around me.

Always wear a seatbelt. I have seen too many pictures of people who haven't...

Most of the time I don't. Sometimes when we are traveling, I will put it on when I think of it.

I didn't in my younger days (44 now). Now it's just automatic to put them on, and require any passengers to have theirs on.

I have a friend who survived a mini pickup crash by getting knocked beltless to the passenger side of his truck, but even he wears his seatbelts 99% of the time. I guess that day he just wasn't meant to be belted...

I'm an ex old Chopper pilot and got into the habit of wearing shoulder harness/seat belts back then. Its second nature to me to wear them in the car. By the way, its a law here in Texas and they can be pretty strict about it sometimes. Also, I have seen first hand what can happen if a seat belt isnt worn and there is a crash... Buddy.
