My nephew was on Spring Break & wanted to go to the track & run his Ford Triton V10. Well my 01 Ram Diesel ran a new best ET of 16.45 at 82.17 mph. The best time he could get was a 17.54. Now he has a standard & he did a lot of spinning... He thought he was auditioning for the Fast & Furious... Actually, our last 1/8 mile times were close (about 6 seconds). Some other times from that night. A Mercedes E555 AMG had a 13.9? something (pretty close to stock C5). Ford Lighting a 14.0? something... Another good night in Louisiana between 65 & 70 degrees... The track was pretty crowded for a Test & Tune... There was some undercover testing going on by one of the Harley Motorcyle dragsters heading to Gainsville, FL for the Gator National this week. Had the scoreboard turned off while he was running so noone could see the times... Update. Yesteday, Matt Hines won the Top Qualifying for Pro Stock Motorcyle in his Suzuki 7.1? something at the Gatornationals... He was the guy at NPR Monday thru Wednesday this week.
