Ed - I believe we could off the laps around Churchill downs but they said only on a rainy day  Having finished sewveral 10K running races on the track, in those conditions I would suggest mud/snow tires and a long chain> Gene - I assume you will drive over during daylight hours only so we can install the headlights you bought from me for the return trip?? Ed - Thanks for the help plugging the event. Looks like we could have about 30 Prowlers. As of today 22 confirmed with a handful of others saying they are thinking about attending. Since you are being so helpful, I have decided not to mention the that University of Louisville beat the number 4 ranked Cincinnati Bearcats in basketball Wednesday night. Marty, they actually were very worried about coming to Louisville. I had a bad feeling about the game before hand, too. They have not played a really tough schedule but they can look like world beaters at times. It will be interesting in the tournament. Congrats to the Cardinals. ------------------ |

MeanGene, I watched the final game from Cole Fieldhouse. The Terps look pretty darn good. The closing ceremony was pretty cool when they introduced all the old players. UC barely snuck past Memphis but the tourney is here in Cincy this year. Now the fun begins. ------------------ |

Does everyone realize that the Churchill Downs meeting is just around the corner? It is just 6 1/2 weeks away. Get off the fence and on the phone and make reservations. We need at least 30 Prowlers there! ------------------ |

Rich, last evening we were heading out to eat and saw a 56 Chev and I asked him if there was a cruise in. There was one on the other side of town and we went to the first cruise in of the year. It was a great night weather wise and a lot of fun to see all the cars again. I usually don't get too excited about events until the last minute, but the first one of the year looks more inviting, for some reason. I sure hope we have some late minute sign ups. I think we'll get a few more signed up. Also, I think the Viper folks will bring a few more vehicles. I'll bet if the weather looks promising that some of the other POA members within a few hours drive may come at the last minute. Can't wait for the time to get here!!
