I thought since I spend so much time at the CAAP store and photographing items for you to look at for purchase, that I would give some equal time to the Museum gift store.

For those of you who are new to the site and have never heard of this museum, it is on the grounds of the DaimlerChrysler Headquarters. It's a great museum with wonderful cars on display. The downstairs "Garage" contains vintage muscle cars, a Prowler and other race cars. They are celebrating 60 years of Jeep at the museum.

You can contact the Museum store for information on and/or purchase of these items. Bob Tate, Manager of the gift store, is working on expansion and will be including more Prowler and Viper items for the future. The Museum carries items for all DaimlerChrysler car and truck brands. The number for Bob/Museum is 248.944.0434.

More stuff:

They have some great books on current and vintage cars, specialty auto-related books and Chrysler Corp.

If you don't have custom exhausts, sidepipes, etc. to make your cat really growl, then get the "Thunder CD" which is a compliation of awesome car/engine/racing sounds. to play in your cd player!
