Been there and done that....

Went to Gary's house one day, to try to sell him aluminum siding, and I'll tell you that the picture is not doing this palatial establishment justice. He decided against the siding so I may go back with my Fuller Brush Bag.

At 19,881 square feet for the main house it is one of the most beautiful homes I have ever been in. The Mother's quarters are around 13,100 square feet and it is truly spectacular also. The landscaping is beyond description.

I have heard tell that the selling price for this estate would top $8M without the cars included! Seems like a bargain to me.

During my visit Gary told me that he had to be careful who was seen at the house as the CIA maintained a "round the clock" surveillance satellite on the property. Seems as though when Gary was in his younger years he was known as "Bond, James Bond."

Yes, Gary is a spy for the CIA and that is how he affords such a beautiful house. His cover is still effective and I'll tell you he is a purebred killer.

Gotta run as my Santa's helper tool kit just arrived and I want to check it out. I'll use it to put all of Dew Drops "toys" together for Christmas. In most cases, the batteries are not included and these toys are killing me financially.

Scot

PS I used this subject as a separate post as I am desperate to "earn" a T-shirt and this seems like the thread that might possibly do it. What Gary does for a living maybe the key to my new T-shirt for me. I am poor and any help I can get would be appreciated. A new T-shirt would really serve me well for Sunday go-to-meeting functions.

And to think that Gary offered to trade me his entire property for the motor out of my kat... he said he was desperate to get his kat running. I didn't know what his property looked like when I turned him down. Now that I have seen it - I still would have said no - but I would have passed out first.

Scot - you are tooooo funny - great thread but you started it in the wrong week... when the prowler was announced DOA.

Keep it up buddy - you may get one yet but remember that it has to be in the General area

Scot:

Cliff is right, to win the prestigious POA t-shirt, thread must be in GENERAL DISCUSSION forum.

Ed is right, fame and fortune came only to Mom and Pop Cleverley. Gary's business failures only left him enough cash flow for the non-union structured landscaping developed by illegal, sweat-shop labor from south of the border. Maybe the "GaryC CHIA PET" X-mas sales may turn things around enough for purchase of that new crate motor?

I thought Gary was an inventor.

Here's link to their web site... Marc, might be able to make this a road trip next year in Colorado...
http://www.under-tec.com/

"An inventor from Colorado has created the world's first fart-proof underwear.

Buck Weimer says his airtight knickers have a replaceable charcoal filter to remove bad gas before it escapes. The undies, called Under-Ease, are on sale over the internet.

Buck, from Pueblo, said he thought up his invention after his wife 'let go a bomb' in bed one night. Buck, 62, and Arlene, 57, suffer from Crohn's disease, an inflammatory bowel syndrome.

In both men and women's styles, the underwear, made from a soft, airtight, nylon-type fabric, is designed for people with chronic flatulence. Elastic is sewn around the waist and both legs.

The removable filter - which looks similar to the shoulder pads placed in women's clothing - is made of charcoal sandwiched between two layers of Australian sheep's wool.

Buck says the charcoal filter isn't too bulky but could capture the bad-smelling gas and allow the non-smelling gas - hydrogen and oxygen - to pass through.

It was developed from gas masks worn by coal miners, reports the Denver Post. They come as boxer shorts for men and panties for women and sell for $24.95 (£18). Replacement filters cost about £7. They are sold with the motto: "Wear them for the ones you love."

The Weimars say flatulence is still a touchy subject for most people. Almost every sale has come via their site.

It sounds like a good idea."

Gheezzz Laddie, did you have a problem that you needed to do a search for this product? Cajun food?

Actually, Gary was the first 'test mule' for this product, but after blowing out four hybrid sets and unable to keep the foul stench within, he was given the ax. Viva la Cleverley! Hope the GaryC ChiaPet goes better for him...

I too would like to lend my support towards Scot getting his T-Shirt- possibly a hat too. Considering Scot's "unique"
postings, he is deserving a "special place" in the annals of this organization - possibly even a matched/color coordinated set of the "underware" as mentioned in Laddie's post.

Merry Christmas Scot, to you & Dew Drop

Now let's put this T-shirt thing aside for a moment....

This post has gone somewhere that is far more important. This containment apparatus for flatulence is more important than Gary's house, jobs, DC's announcements or my special need of a free T-shirt.

Dr. -hit Sniff has been active for a long time in the area of flatulence and this product is fantastic. I called him today and directed him to the Web sight and even he thinks that these people have a winning product. Dr. -hit Sniff is the leader in this arena and I trust his wisdom in determining the viability of a particular product.

Do you think that there would be credence in setting up a group purchase plan for the POA? I know that Gary could use at least 7 pairs and 50+ filters. There must be others that suffer the indignities of a "high test" problem.

Many years ago I was active in developing an early warning system that would allow ample time to evacuate if a particularly bad session started. This product, along with some ancillary offerings, was very successful in aiding individuals with gastric problems. I even marketed a special simulated "dog barking" device that allowed you the option of blaming the dog for your particular scent.

I abandoned the project in the late 80's as with computerization there appeared to be more sophisticated product offerings that met the needs of the consumers.

I'll put my crack team of inventors on this project once again as the sales of Prowler products may be negatively impacted by DC's latest announcements. The gear sets and "tater" performance chips have been slow selling since DC announced the impending production halt of the Prowler in 2002.

Gotta run as Dew Drop just finished making two peanut butter sandwiches and I always hate to keep her waiting when she makes something so special for my enjoyment.

She likes when I lick the excess peanut butter off of the spreading utensil and that helps her keep everything clean without using the dishwasher. I cut my tongue on the knife once, so now I am bit more careful and she uses a dull knife.

Scot --As the vendor refered to in Laddie's post already has a "brand-name" for his product, have you given any thought to what you might name your version of this essential garment?

I would like to suggest the "Klingon Cloaking Device" !
Whatever you and your crack R&D team along with your research scientist Dr.-hit Sniff decide on, I am positive it will be a winner.

Boy, am I glad I took a moment from my vacation in Fresno to jump on line,,,,, I guess it takes an old fart to talk about a young fart. I like this,,,being a major gasser just ask anyone, I would be interested in the fart proof diapers, they need to be diapers cause sometimes there are surprises when the uncontrollable gassers emerge with parts.
Please continue at my expense as usually,,,,

Ed is correct, it is CHIA, thanks ED, the fart is out of the ,,,,

Dan,

Your fantastic! I need to fly up and get some of that "puter" knowledge from you. I could develop a program that would track all of my "Drops."

Gary looks soooo natural in the picture and the sound effects are very good.

Gotta run as all of this noise has stimulated me and I think that it is time for a life cycle test on my new Ferguson maxi-man bathroom buddy. This baby can take all you can give and asks for more. It just says "give me your best shot."
