Boy was it a close one. We had a tornado touch down the next block over from the house this afternoon. One of my employees came running into my office yelling there was a tornado by my house, I called the police to confirm it. Sure nuf. Headed right home to check on the Prowler (oh yea, house too!) After almost 40 minutes, they let me into the neighborhood. I was scared for the elementary around the block. Roofs gone, fences gone, trees everywhere! WOW what a mess. I thank God for blessing us and our home. More storms on the way tonight. No injuries, just a lot of property damage. Our house is fine and all is well.

Wow - that has to be a scary feeling, wondering if everybody, everything is OK. Glad to hear it turned out the way it did.

I hope the storms pass you by tonight also.

Paul & Jody - saw the damage on the news. So glad you and yours are safe. What a feeling of helplessness. Hope you all remain safe thru the night.

This is my worst fear. I live within Georgia's version of Tornado alley. One year the next enighborhood over was hit hard. One house was turned to splinters, another was picked up completely off its foundation and set down in the back yard, The basic structure still in tact and most bricks still in place. I had roof damage and my patio furniture took off. Glad to hear all is well for you.

Paul - glad everything is OK. You said there are other cats in your neighborhood,,,,,,,,,,,,how are they?

Living in Nebraska for nearly thirty years, I have seen the wrath of many twisters - no fun indeed!

PS - are Jody's new pillows secure? couldn't resist....

All neighborhood Kats are OK. 4 houses were condemned and another 30 or so damaged. Still a weird feeling knowing it was so close.
